just re-did windows xp office and when i try to play a dvd on WMP, a screen pops up that says to lower my screen resolution and color quality settings. i know how to get to that point but what settings am i supposed to set it at??? HELP!!!

did u reinstall windows xp or reinstall office xp?

What resolution and colour setting are you currently using?

screen res: 1024 x 768
color quality: highest @ 32bit

Display2
screen res: 640 x 480
color quality: lowest @ 8bit

i say try to reinstall video drivers and restart

do a full windows update

then make sure you have latest video drivers (windows update should take care of that)

Don't use Windows update to take care of your video card drivers. Find the manufacturer adn go to their website to download the latest drivers. More often than not the drivers on Windows updates cause more trouble than good.
