So I have a 1994 Nissan Altima and E-Brake light won't go off! And no, i dont have my emergency brake up. I took it into jiffy lube to get my oil changed and they said that the brake fluid is fine so i really don't know what else it can be.

Anyone know whats going on with it? Or could it just be a busted fuse because when i turn on my headlights the interior lights go out (the ones that show my spedometer and stuff) I hope they fixed that, but do you think that could be the problem? Some mixed wiring?
Please help?

you have a short in the wiring that makes your dash lights turn off.

your e-brake has a switch that has probably gone bad.

just needs to be replaced.

get zxappeal to do it (the switch replacement, dunno about wiring).

Jiffy Lube has ruined many a vehicle by doing simple oil changes. Are you going to trust them with your brake fluid!!!!!!!!

did you spill any sort of soda in the car? possibly in that area with the brushes by the brake? if the contacts get sticky or get soda on them, the light may stay on. same thing happens if you spill it near or in your automatic shifter. the car won't let you pull your keys out until you ram the shifter into park to make good contact. a good cleaning would probably fix it
