Michael Myers is supposed to be a human who I guess was posessed or something so that he pretty much can't die. They always kill him and, much like Jason, he comes back in some way. The main difference is that Michael Myers specifically hunts the only blood relative he has left, Lori Strode (killing everyone in his way), whereas Jason just likes to kill everyone.

actually, the film company wouldn't allow ash.

the original proposal said that ash would beat both freddy and jason. the film company said "who the hell is ash" and then went on to say that basically the evil dead audience is waaaay too niche to have a basic nobody beat two movie legends. most people would just be confused. i think they were right.


as of a symposium three weeks ago at VCU in Richmond, Robert Englund said that Freddy Vs. Jason 2 was not going to happen.

what i mean is, he might as well do some shit that will actually make money. i've never heard of any of those projects except the NoE tag. i can understand expanding yourself, but if he's just gonna do horror stuff and drive the freddy character into the ground, might as well make a buck
