Honestly, is it at all surprising? When I played Little League there were a few teams that 1, maybe even 2, black kids but most of the teams were all-white.

It is a cultual thing when it comes to little league....the inner cities don't have little league for the most part. Most kids parents there don't have the money that it takes to keep a kid in team sports so they don't play or have as many teams as in the burbs....when african americans get to high school and college is when they get the most opportunities to play team sports. It is a shame really that this country and all the rich people don't do more to go to the inner cities to increase activities in organized sports programs for underprivliged kids of all races....but that is just my opinion....
