so just exactly are these references referring to? besides, even if you could get a few names .. who cares, there is far more more overwhelming evidence of the killing of innocents there by coalition forces etc. try the brussels tribunal/many humanitairan orgs/amnesty/doctors for iraq/and many many many independent news sources, ill post some info when i get a chance. furthermore, i could give you links to many interviews with american forces that have been conducted, telling thier stories of what has happened there. truth always surfaces, even if it may be after a while.

Massey is being attacked for a reason. Could the timing of this attack on Massey be related to the Italian TV report (aired Nov. 8, 2005) on the use of chemical weapons on Iraqi Civilians?

And if the media is so itching to expose the truth about wrongful U.S. military actions in Iraq, let's see if they jump all over the story about the Italian TV program on the use of white phosphorous on Iraqi civilians in Fallujah. And why hasn't the media widely reported on the U.S. military use of napalm in Iraq? Why haven't they made much of a deal about the fact that the Bush Administration deliberately lied about the WMD threat to get us to go to war? Why did they barely report on the Downing Street Memos?

By the way, have you noticed how the media has backtracked to a degree on the lies about the WMDs. They now report on it as if there is a question as to whether the Administration lied. THERE IS NO QUESTION! It is a FACT that they deliberately lied and fabricated the WMD threat. Have they ever heard of the DOWNING STREET MEMOS?!

All the evidence shows that the media is complicit with the government in their war in Iraq agenda. The media even has to consult with the Pentagon to see which stories it can report. We do not have a free press or media. It is all controlled.

That article is a poorly written and conceived hit piece. Just take a look at the manipulation by the author at the end of the article (ie, the last sentence of the article):

Here, Massey is admitting that it is hard for him to admit his guilt in taking part in committing atrocities against civilians. BUT, the author seems to be suggesting (by the placement of this quote) that Massey is admitting guilt in regards to a supposed "backtrack" (really a clarification) of a statement. The author is trying to suggest that Massey is admitting he lied. This is a TOTAL MISREPRESENTATION.

Apparantly, this is the author's "evidence" that Massey's "own admissions" prove his "claims are false." This major misrepresentation of Massey's statement is enough to call into question the rest of this author's claims in the article, including claims that no other soldiers or reporters would corroborate Massey's claims, Massey's alleged changing of his stories, etc. I have a feeling there are some other major misrepresentations involved in those issues as well.

Sorry, 30thAnnZ. I'm not buying this guy's bs about Massey. And it certainly, BY NO STRETCH, proves that the U.S. military has not committed atrocities against Iraqi civilians (as I'm sure you wish it would).
