what's a good sub $70 PCI express video card that would support HL2? I just ordered a new dell and decided to forgo their upgrade of a radeo x300 SE since I saw bad reviews. any recomendations?

Spend a little more cash and get a 6600GT. It's the best lower range card for the lower ranger buck.

I've got an x800 pro vivo 256mb that I'll sell for $100 that simply needs a new fan. I'll even order the fan and attach it for you if you want to give me $100 + fan cost

if $70 is all you care to spend, you won't get a better card than the x300 you have. the x300 ~ radeon 9200

I have an X300 in my laptop and it does a *decent* job.

a very far cry from the x850XT PE in my desktop tho.
