wear socks?

I mean i like the no socks thing and all, but why do you think/why do most teams not wear high socks?

Well if you're out there sweating and running around, the sweat takes away a pretty significant amount of heat away (running w/ sweaty legs = air flowing over sweaty legs = convective heat transfer = could mean the difference b/t cramps and no cramps = difference in playing time & performance)

I think the question is more low socks (i.e. not visible above the shoes) vs. high socks (like they wear in the NFL). Whenever someone loses a shoe, they're usually not walking around on a bare foot, just a low sock.
