It was just reported on WCCO's morning news that the Hennepin County medical examiner is in the hotel. I'm hoping that's just to confirm that he died in his sleep, as opposed to some of the other things I don't even want to think about.

That's really sad. Just last week, he wrestled on Smackdown. Man, he seemed to be doing his face turn, and he was going to wrestle on the Smackdown team for Survivor Series. This is just...crazy. I remember when Owen Hart died, and I was lost for words. Same instance here. I can't really say anything right now. Damn, I'm going to miss Latino Heat. Rest in peace, Eddie.

^^Chavo still works for the WWE. His gimmick is Kerwin White where he acts like a middle-class white guy, and rejects all Latino heritage. If the WWE wants to get it right, drop the gimmick and make him Chavo again.

i just watched a press conference with Chavo and Vinny Mac from WWE.com. I think they'll scrap Kerwin. They're taping Raw and Smackdown as tribute shows and I imagine Chavo will be wrestling a tribute match. Wouldn't surprise me if he wrestles Chris Benoit.

I couldn't believe this when I read it. Eddie was one of my favorite wrestlers, ever since his WCW days. I hadn't been keeping up with wrestling too much in the last year or so, but this sounds like another steroid-relating wrestling death.
