So I thought it would be cheaper to get some tires for my car at walmart. I special ordered some to arrive at the Wal-Mart on Kildaire road over in Cary. 2 weeks ago I got an email saying they had arrived so I called to make sure - the b1tch on the other end of the phone said they wern't there yet and that walmart didn't do special orders. Anyways, yesterday I drove over there because I knew by then the tires would be there. I asked to get the tires put on and they couldn't find the tires even though according to the computer they were there. After 30min of searching they finally found the tires, and an hour later they were mounted on my car. Also, between when I ordered the tires and when I got them put on, the prices of each tire had gone up $5 which kinda pissed me off b/c even though I had a printout saying the price I was to pay they wouldnt give me that price. Anyhow I walked to my car, and pulled off all the stickers that were covering up the tread on the tires (they hadn't taken off the stickers-retards) and drove home.

This morning I walked down to my car to make sure the tires were holding air (b/c I don't trust Wal-Mart). The tires are nice and grippy and as I looked at them I noticed the words "mount this side in" I know it is a common mistake to mount directional tires the wrong way and all, and maybe they just wanted me to have good wet traction in reverse, but dayum...Walmart Sucks.

Sorry I just had to vent.
I learned my lesson - For anything important, don't go to walmart.

i think we can all agree that you sacrifice service for prices when you go to big discount places. Home Depot doesn't have particularly helpful people compared to your local place.
