^There is perhaps slight change on the aggregate population, but nothing significant. The main change is the Republican Party's increased success and/or willingness to identify talented conservative blacks and run or appoint them to prominent postions, not a substantial shift to the right of the black community. The national Dems, for their part, have also struggled to connect to blacks in recent years (running guys like Kerry doesn't help).

Sorry about that. I didn't realize you were being sarcastic. I just angers me when others talk about her being "white" just because her political views differ from theirs. It does bother me, too. Clarence Thomas was an Uncle Tom, the candidate in MD is an Uncle Tom, Condi was an Uncle Tom with a sex change... whenever african americans rise to prominence in American society under the conservative ideology, they are demeaned, called sell-outs, and disrespected by the so-called "diversity experts" that is the American Left.

It truly is ashame.

Of course she isn't... because by admitting she is, you would have to inevitably recognize the beginning of what could be an erosion of a very strong voting bloc in American political culture.

People will begin to realize sooner or later that... Bush has Condi, Powell, Minetta, Chow, and various other minorities in positions of high influence within the government... look at "the first black President's" cabinet (clinton)... white dudes except the sec. of labor who was chinese I believe (irony there).

Never said republicans would get the minority vote. I said people would begin to realize, sooner or later that minorities hold very high positions in republican administrations and that the party of the minority appoints white men to high positions.
