http://thinkprogress.org/2005/11/16/bush-was-right/

Quote :
"Freedom in Afghanistan, say goodbye Taliban
Free elections in Iraq, Saddam Hussein locked up
Osama’s staying underground, Al Qaida now is finding out
America won’t turn and run once the fighting has begun

Don’t you know that all this means…
Bush was right! Bush was right!"

http://www.rightmarch.com/media/Bush_sample.ram or http://www.therightbrothers.com/audio/bush_was_right/Bush_Was_Right.mp3 to listen

Quote :
"RightMarch.com has big plans for The Right Brothers. Here’s a bit more from a recent email to their supporters (again, this is not a parody, we promise):

This is what the youth in America need. They’re already bombarded with songs on the radio and videos on MTV that trash our President, conservative beliefs, and traditional American values. From “Mosh” by Eminem, to “Idiot Son of an A**hole” by NOFX… all of these songs serve to fill young people’s minds with LIES. […]

WILL YOU HELP US? We’re putting together a “kickin’” music video right now, and we’re preparing a HUGE grassroots campaign to get hundreds of thousands of people to request “Bush Was Right!” on MTV’s “Total Request Live” show… leading to our demands for it to be played in regular rotation!

If they DON’T - then we’ll hit the media in a BIG way, showing how MTV plays left-wing videos while CENSORING conservative videos! "

Hahahahaha, I saw these dudes one day when I was flipping through the channels... they were performing it live at some rally in DC that was being shown on C-SPAN. They sounded absolutely horrible, and looked ridiculous. After they were done, they thanked the crowd for their support, then the cameras panned out to the 40 or so people who had actually bothered to show up for the rally. So much for the huge anti-protest scene.

it sounds like a bad commercial jingle...where you're listening to the radio and you think it's a song, but it's not, it's really just an ad for mellow yellow

here's their website.

Quote :
"The Right Brothers are a conservative music duo whose lyrics are devoted to addressing the issues at the forefront of the political arena. The music they make has been described as “a lethal weapon for conservatives”, “a moral booster for the troops and their families” and “the perfect tool for converting liberals to the right”."

a duo? correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't a "duo" have TWO people? there are three in the band. I guess the drummer is just some random lackey they picked up wh ocould keep a steady beat.

oh shit, and there are videos!

haha this is sadly pathetic.

who the fuck cares about eminem... if you guys on the left want to claim him, go for it...

(btw, I actually got suckered into buying that album)

Disturbed's new album has a track or two on it that isn't quite pro-bush either. But who the hell cares? These are people that are better suited at strumming guitar strings and ripping off other peoples' music and call it "sampling" than making political statements.

Perpetual winners of the "shutup and play your guitar" award these right brothers are

I love their message board (comments)

From the Left:

Quote :
"If Bush was right, drop the guitars and enlist- Cowards.
- Anonymous "

Quote :
"as a long time republican from East Tennessee and deeply involved in the music industry may i make a suggestion? give it up. i'd pay to hear two cats having sex before i'd listen to the out-of-tune tripe you've recorded.
- Anonymous: Knoxville, Tennessee"

Quote :
" Are you Dick Cheney's gay daughters?"

From the Right:

Quote :
"Just wanted to thank you for being a true "American"."

Quote :
"You are doing what God expects all of us to do with our lives, and that is to serve others. Liberal activists on the otherhand, tear down, and demean what others have fought and died for, and hold nothing but contempt for those who gave their lives and everything they stood, and stand for!"
