He seems like a nice guy, but on the first day on some british history class he spent a long time seemingly reading off a sheet of paper saying something like "this is the land where people lived, loved, fought, and died, its a story that covers many many years." Dramatic cliche talking does not combine well with a monotone voice. Also the first day he assigned alot of group work to be done out of class, like 1 or 2 group meetings (although I think he said they were to be called "group parties) a week. That semester I didn't have that level of free time outside of class to schedule around 5 or 6 other peoples schedules for a few meetings a week, so I had to drop the class. But he still seemed like a nice guy, during a less busy semester I would have taken it, but it was a lot of work for a low level class. 11/17/2005 8:25:03 AM |
