Hey guys, well I decided I needed a bigger trucks and found this used one in MO... The owner bought it and evidently it was too much truck for him to pull his horse trailer with. Either that or the EF tranny owned him. I feel sorry for him, but he was evidently loaded because the MSRP of the truck was 85,000 with all the upfitting he did and 1 year and less than 3k miles later he's selling it to me for 29,000 less. AVON and I are flying out next friday to pick it up and do the 19 hours return haul. Unfortunately I'm having to sell my F550, so if anyone knows someone who wants a hell of a good truck, that was babied send them to my ebay listing http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-F550-Superduty-Powerstroke_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ86878QQitemZ4591166306QQrdZ1 I hope that works.
It was a great truck and I am really sad to sell it, just can't afford 2 huge truck payments.

I haul all kinds of stuff. Trees (family runs a nursery & landscaping company) I also move our backhoes, track loaders and our too smaller tree spades (one is a CAT wheel loader and the other is a walden) My 550 was doing great but I had to watch the weight as to not cause any problems, with this thing I should be ok for a while. It has a CAT 300hp and a eaton fuller 10speed manual, Air brakes, and air suspension. I'm pretty excited.

wow i've never seen a turbodiesel tucked like in your pic..

every one ive seen (ones having 5th wheels to pull backhoes on a flat 18-wheeler-like trailers) were pretty much perfectly level. I guess they had some air suspension going on...

it has a cd player :-) I'll probably replace it though... there is a hitch on this truck but to get to it you have to flip up the trap door on the bed. It'll hook onto my 5th wheel (30' hydraulic tilt deck)
and yes AVON my penis is very small.... would suck to be my twin brother.

here's my trailer... i don't think a lift is possible, so i can get under the trailer... it does have a locking diff so maybe it'll handle some trails?

^^^ It comes with an air-ride suspension stock. How much of a variable lift that gives, I have no idea.

eh, big truck air suspensions like that arent for lifting the vehicle, the whole bag setup itself is about a foot tall but their mounting points dont allow them to lift the thing a foot, they more or less just stiffen up when inflated. if that makes sense...

yeah i know... more or less they just cushion the ride or help level up the truck when loaded... air is real nice especially when you're unloaded, my Ford L9000 tree spade has rubber bushings for suspension (aka no suspension, it'll bounce the hell out of you when unloaded)

which one the chevy? I haven't driven it yet so no clue, the F550 gets around 6-12mpg depending on load. The L9000 tree spade gets 4-6 mpg
