personally, i feel like they're a waste of money. i've found for street driving that OEM blanks and a good set of pads work the best.

what do you plan to put these on and why?

99 f350. they're the only rotor out there for these trucks (that i know of) that doesn't warp in a few thousand miles. i agree they're a waste of money otherwise for street driving.

i was only joking, but it think it might work, although turning them on a regular brake lathe in the future would be a bitch

it's a viable option... you can't turn powerslots either, the regular or cryo'd ones.

what about some meineke lifetime warrantied rotors? they may warp jsut as fast but atleast you don't have to pay for new ones

I feel your pain...the Excursion eats regular rotors for breakfast.

There is another brand of cryo'd rotors available too. ART, applied rotor technology or some shit. Ford truck folks swear by them.

it's not so much the slotting i need... actually no slotting would be prefered. it's more the cryo treating. supposedly the cryo'd powerslots are the only rotors that combat premature warping on these beasts.

Ivan, check into these too. Kinda pricey, but have heard nothing but good from those using them. Get out your wallet though.

I prefer to use IGES or DXF files. I can open about anything though. I use Mastercam for most things
