Why would CNN put poorly placed subliminal messages (that they knew or should know would be exposed) in Cheney's speech? If the "liberal" media was really trying to attack Cheney, all they would need to do is report the facts about the Downing Street Memos, the forged Niger document, and the other examples of how the Bush Administration misled the public on Iraq's WMD threat.

It seems this may have been staged (and reported) in order to suggest that the best the "liberal" media can do to attack Cheney is place subliminal messages in his speeches. So, all the brainwashed conservatives (and some others) will see this and think "Hey, Cheney must be right. The best the liberal media can do is attack him with subliminal messages. He must be right about them not misleading the country on Iraq's intelligence."

The reality is that the media isn't "liberal" or pro-democrat. The MSM is a mouthpiece for the elite that control both parties and the government. That's why the media has been complicit in selling this war to the American people and has not aggresively tried to expose the lies of the Bush Administration used to trick us into war in Iraq.
