I'm just installed Fable for PC and when I go into the game I can only see a portion of the scenery and my character and other objects are see through. I have an hp pavilion with an ati mobility radeon 9000, microsoft has it listed as supported by the game.. any ideas? 11/22/2005 11:07:59 PM |

9000 is an old chipset. Probably doesn't support all the options necessary to fully render the game. I would suggest upgrading your graphics card, preferably to an nVidia card. 11/22/2005 11:24:29 PM |

How hard is it to install a video card for a laptop? 11/22/2005 11:49:27 PM |

Oh shit. I didn't see you had a laptop. Sorry. You won't be able to replace the graphics chipset because it is soldered into the motherboard. Your only option is to replace the laptop. Sorry for getting your hopes up like that. 11/23/2005 11:37:48 AM |

Its probably more of a driver problem. The 9000 was the same generation as the 9600/9800, with the only real differeces being clockspeed and # of pipelines. Fable ran fine on my friends 9800 and my 9600Pro Turbo (laptop) 11/23/2005 2:58:54 PM |
