it was determined today that it would be cheaper to replace my furnace than for the parts for it.
so the home warranty company is paying for the replacement
I couldn't find it online but does anyone know how much one would cost (natural Gas furnace)
btw the great part is I get a new furnace after 2 weeks of "repairs" have not worked
the bad part is it may be till January till it gets installed!!!!! 11/23/2005 7:08:31 PM |

I'd get a space heater until then and make the warranty company pay for the elevated electricity bill 11/23/2005 7:46:34 PM |

Call your local HVAC company and get a quote. 11/24/2005 9:57:21 AM |

when you get a quote for the new system, see if you can pay the difference on a better one.
i'd reccomend one that has a power humidfier/dehumidifier and HQ air filter (preferably washable HEPA quality), you'll notice a HUGE difference in air quality (if you ever intend on having kids in that house or have allergies) with a minimal change in energy use.
plus you don't have to buy the $$$$$ disposable filters from lowes. 11/24/2005 1:23:30 PM |
