Quote : | "Majority Believe White House Misleads Public, Poll Shows
THE WALL STREET JOURNAL ONLINE November 23, 2005
A majority of U.S. adults believe the Bush administration generally misleads the public on current issues, while fewer than a third of Americans believe the information provided by the administration is generally accurate, the latest Harris Interactive poll finds.
While the telephone survey of 1,011 U.S. adults indicates about 64% of Americans believe the Bush administration "generally misleads the American public on current issues to achieve its own ends," opinion on the topic is clearly divided along party lines. A large majority (68% to 28%) of Republicans say the Bush administration generally provides accurate information. However, even larger majorities of Democrats (91% to 7%) and Independents (73% to 25%) think the information is generally misleading." |
So. The only people that generally can't see that the Bush Administration are a pack of liars are the more staunch republicans. No surprise. Blind loyalty will do that. But you have to wonder what it will take to finally wake these people up. There's been some pretty big lies exposed, even by the MSM. This is some intense loyalty. Apparantly as long as they have an "R" by their name, they can do no wrong to these people. You know if a democrat had lied to start a war, and then lied numerous times to cover up the failures of the war, and then supported torture...not to mention jacked the national debt up 3 trillion dollars, supported amnesty for illegal aliens, and supported the extension of the assault weapons ban, etc...these republicans would be screaming bloody murder. Maybe these Bush supporters don't even watch the news anymore. Or they're just in denial.11/24/2005 10:24:43 AM |

Right. Like this is the first time I've used a MSM source. I use them in probably 80-85% of the threads I start. 11/24/2005 10:40:43 AM |

And we would be screaming bloody murder if anyone had done those things. Regretfully, George Bush is merely incompetent, not a liar. 11/25/2005 9:23:34 AM |
