sell the tahoe yourself then, trade-in prices are typically complete shit...although I know nothing about what you have so I can't say much about its value 11/28/2005 5:50:24 PM |

The car I got rid of a month ago: Dealer first offer = $2k, Dealer 2nd offer = $3k, Carmax offer = $3k, sold to a private party for $5k.
Sell it yourself mang.

Selling a vehicle for $19k yourself and selling a vehicle for $5k yourself are two very different things. 11/28/2005 6:26:26 PM |

try a different dealer, you'll be able to find a sales manager somewhere that'll deal 11/28/2005 6:50:59 PM |

People don't want SUVs these days. I bet its value back in March was probably 22k or so. 11/28/2005 7:20:17 PM |

I read somewhere that all the incentives that GM used to sell its trucks/SUV's have depressed resale values. 11/28/2005 7:50:45 PM |

^ All the big manufacturers did that one way or another. You "thought" you were getting a deal, but now look what you're stuck with. 11/28/2005 8:12:16 PM |

in order to get the friends and family incentive which is about 5k before rebates i have to do it by NOV 30. thats why i havent sold it my self. i am not a total idiot. damn gm. i bought it used right before the first employee pricing. anyone buying a new car should beware that they will never not be upside down. 11/28/2005 9:34:21 PM |
