i was at the libary during the game and when i was leaving i just happened to have the radio on 106.5 as they were wrapping up on the unc radio station. i stayed tuned find out who won, i caught ride before the last commercial break when they came back, it went something like this:

"well final score tonight 68-64, 68 not by the team you would hope, UNC. But i'll tell you one thing, that 2005 championship banner sure does look sweet and its ours and nothing can take that away from us"

i was stupefied. i'm glad he pointed out that losing to illinois doesnt mean they have to give up their championship
