needta go pick up an axle in gboro sat, my buddy has a truck that inspection is out like over a year. he knows it wont pass, waiting on jan 06 for exemption to get it done, already got the letter of death and paid the fine.

if i get pulled what are my options? i think inspections are usually fix-it tickets but if its out this long and he paid the fine so obviously hes aware...

otoh, it has a modern sticker, so unless i got pulled for some other reason nobody'd be the wiser.

opinions? advice?

i guess they will write you a ticket and you can get it continued until the jan 06 exemption but that is worst case

if you wait more than two months it's a $250 fine and your plate is revoked for 30 days, i believe

not my ride, he already paid the 250 fine, but he said if theres a $$ ticket id have to pay it, thats the reason i wanted to know. thx joel, thats what i was hoping to hear.

only way you can do it without an inspection, is if you just had the title transferred, and you have 10 days to get it done
