uhm
is itunes open? if it is look in the left pane, you'll see your nano, whatever you named it
its charging, thats why the battery has the lightning bolt through it
but its telling you not to disconnect without ejecting the nano from itunes first

I'm pretty sure this is all explained in the little book that came with your Nano. 11/30/2005 2:07:58 PM |

just let it fully charge and the unplug it later. unless you're actively updating your ipod, it's not actually going to fuck it up when you remove it. if the screen never changes, just unplug it when it's been an hour or two. That happens sometimes when you completely run down the batteries then charge it after a day or two. 11/30/2005 2:11:53 PM |

Why are so many people afraid of iTunes? I've never had a problem with it. 11/30/2005 3:04:59 PM |

because iTunes steals babies away in the night and poisons the town wells and eats weird food. 11/30/2005 3:36:37 PM |

did you even think about reading the manual that came with the nano? It says to install itunes before you plug that thing in, and if you use some logic, maybe you can determine that the bolt looking like thing where the battery meter is says that it's charging. How the hell did you get into college? 11/30/2005 4:04:20 PM |
