Agreed on both counts. Not too big a fan of Warner, but Allen's race for Governor was the very first political campaign I ever worked on -- and they're both Virginians, so I can't really bitch either way

The thing I like about Warner is that he's brokered a hell of alot of bipartisian deals. I think that'll be important given 3 more years of this clusterfuck of a president.

I'd vote for Allen though if Warren didn't get the nod. I really like both of these guys.

He's a bit of a hot-head, but he generally knows what he's talking about...which is a step up.

I don't think he'll be competitive in the primaries though because he doesn't have the money to compete.
