Are you going during spring break? I was thinking about going to vegas during that time. Its still undecided between vegas, puerto rico, or the bahamas. 12/2/2005 10:22:20 AM |

didn't stay at that hotel (i was at the rio... company trip) but i did go in (went into about all of the ones on the strip actually). it was really nice, very elegant... honestly all the new ones are fine. loved the venetian most of all tho... definitely go in there.

i stayed there last year in a suite -- it's nice, really swanky
but honestly, you spend so little time awake in your room in vegas so don't break the bank over it -- if you get a good deal, go for it
it was nice to watch tv on the little plasma in the bathroom while taking a shower . . . 12/2/2005 12:27:20 PM |

i like the middle of the strip better than being on the ends 12/2/2005 1:04:10 PM |

Yeah, thats the only downside to Mandalay, we got a really good deal though. $630 per person for a suite and direct flight for 3 nights. Not bad at the calibre of a hotel 12/2/2005 1:06:18 PM |

stayed at the bellagio in september... i didn't pick the hotel or pay though... if i had picked, it'd have been the venetian or mandalay bay (if only for the cool water park type stuff) 12/2/2005 2:05:55 PM |

Bellagio really showcases everything Vegas is about.
I think our place was about $200 and it was gorgeous. Up on the 18th floor, marble bathroom, and all amenties. 12/2/2005 2:19:35 PM |

I stayed at the Luxor which is right next to it. Mandalay, Luxor, and Excalibur are pretty much connected. Mandalay is the best by far... the pool facilities rock there. Everything is really nice and tropical inside. They have the walk through shark tank thing too, but I was too broke at that point to pay to see fish. 12/4/2005 1:25:14 AM |

I've stayed in the Luxor, Excalibur, and Caesar's out of the three my room at Caesar's was the nicest. Mandalay Bay is really nice I think, it's hard to go wrong on the strip. 12/4/2005 10:28:30 AM |

I have stayed at about 90% of the hotels...my mother works at both the MGM and Wynn Hotels. Mandalay Bay is nice, awesome pool. The only down side is its and the end of the strip (besides the 4 seasons) Iw ould suggest somewhere more central. Venetian is prolly ideal with its "every room is a suite". Check out this ice bar at Mandalay if youstay there and check out the rum jungle. 12/4/2005 11:51:49 AM |
