Danny Trejo is a serious badass.

p.s. Vincent Pastore for the greasy goomba. Note the seven parts named Tony.

there's a difference between a "least diverse" actor and a "token" actor

a token actor is one who plays bit parts, but the same bit part. a "least diverse" actor is a major hollywood actor who plays the same role.

Michael Chen:

My friend Mike Chen (not him) emailed me that link last week. For years I used to see him out, say "Herro Michael!" and ask him if he brought his rickshaw. You probably won't enjoy the subtle humor and irony of the situation.

there was a funny line on the radio a while back about morris chestnutt. "if there's a movie with more than 3 black guys in it, there's a 99% chance that morris chestnutt is one of them"

Morgan Freeman always plays an experienced detective/mentor in crime dramas.

Chris Tucker is also black comedy relief.

^ Morgan freeman doesn't fit the role of "token" character though... he plays the same role alot, but he's certainly not a bit part or token black guy...

The only really common theme to his roles though are that he plays a figure of authority most of the time. A president in deep impact, an evil head of a rogue agency in chain reaction, lawyers, etc.

he plays a similar roll in every movie mostly yeah, but he doesn't always play bit parts. his name's R. Lee Ermy, and he's an actual marine gunnery sergant. so he's just playing himself.

^^GySgt Hartman, you mean? Sgt Carter was on Gomer Pyle, USMC...haha

and i wouldn't count him. he played the gay football coach in Saving Silverman, and i think he's had some other roles where he played different characters.

ahah, this thread made me think of James Hong
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0393222/
He played a Chinese Restaurant Maitre D in an episode of Seinfeld and Alias

Its also pretty funny to see how many characters hes played with the name 'Wong.'

The guy who played Sgt. Hartman was also in that film Willard (the movie about the guy who could control rats). He was the main guy's boss.
