kiss Bush's ass and apparantly believe it is impossible for Bush to do wrong
anything Bush does is beyond criticism and must be good
if you don't worship Bush, you're an evil liberal
torture and lying to go to war is good
if you don't support the war in iraq, you support the terrorists and al-Qaeda and you hate the troops and America
now, the only question to me is whether THABIGIRL is a shill like Culter or just another poor brainwashed and duped hardcore Bush/Republican loyalist 12/8/2005 10:21:55 AM |

^^ Actually Ann has been rather critical of Bush on immigration. But honestly, what is the point of this thread. Is it to complain about Ann or about THABIGIRL? You dont make any point other than insane and hates liberals and you put up one link that "proves" this must be true. You dont try to argue your point at all and therefore this should not be in the soapbox.

There is no true point that I need to argue. I wanted to put up a story about Coulter and how completely nut balls she is. I don't see how this woman gets air time or even speaks publicly anymore. 12/8/2005 10:30:59 AM |

^ Wow. A rebel flag? What does that prove? I guess this is your escape goat to try and salvage your pride.
Your a liberal remember, you are supposed to be accepting of others beliefs. You just want people who you agree with to get air time, right? You dont want any of the "nut balls", which you claim her to be, to speak their minds. Again, if you can only personally attack her, its a good bet that you cant debate her on real issues. 12/8/2005 10:45:43 AM |

giving her time is like giving the head of the Revolutionary Communist Youth Brigade time, theyre both coming from way out in left field and shouldnt appeal to anyone who supports progress and common sense (as well as anyone who has half a brain).

Are you just pulling shit out of your ass?
A. I don't know what you mean by "scape goat to escape my pride," who the fuck says I'm escaping any sort of pride?
B. "YOUR a liberal" Well, assuming you meant "you're" - yes I am a liberal and I am accepting of other people's beliefs. Thinking that Ann Coulter is a doofus and nutjob does not mean I don't listen to her, but its hard take her seriously, very hard.
C. I could debate her a new asshole, because she doesn't argue any facts she just says stupid ass things that come to her mind like
"Canada would be nothing without the USA" & "Bill Clinton only won because Ross Perot got 19% of the vote" plus - anyone who disrespects the people that she is speaking to by calling them names is just ignorant.

SO what is so crazy about saying Ross Perot helped Bill Clinton win that election? I don't see the controversy, but maybe I'm to conservative to understand what constitutes "hate" speach. Good grief, from reading the article I can't see why they had such a problem with her. Is the new definition of "hate speech" just any political dialogue that doesn't fall into line with one's own preconcieved liberal notions?
I loved her appearances on the old "Politically Incorrect", she was awsome on that show. I still think alot of it was the Bill was secretely hoping that she would date him or something.
And how is she setting back "woman's rights" 100 years? I guess women should only be able to elaborate publicly in support of progressive feminist ideals? That makes sense, that's a tolerant viewpoint. Woman should be able to speak out against feminism if they do desire.
I wish there were more conservative politicians willing to take a definite stand on issues like she does. Just stand by what you believe, if some people throw pies at you then that just shows how stupid they are. 12/8/2005 6:54:53 PM |

regression is awesome, let me tell you. women can do whatever the fuck they want, and they should be able to do whatever the fuck they want. coulter supports disallowing women to do certain things. you tell me, what makes more sense: allowing a grown human to do whatever the fuck they want to do with thier life, or telling them they can do whatever they want as long as it falls within a boundary defined by a select few. i think conservatives and liberals alike should agree that in this day in age, enlightened individuals should advocate a human's freedom to do what they want with their lives. this means holding whatever job they are qualified for and being able to choose who leads them by voting.
you can support whatever the fuck you want, but if you support limiting personal freedoms which do not infringe on the rights of others (and women's rights, save the abortion issue, do not), you lose.

There shouldn't be, but a company is a private entity. It should be able to determine who gets paid what and who gets promoted. If they only want to promote white males, then that's their business. I view the government telling companies what they can pay their employees much like someone telling you who you can and cannot let into your house. It's a violation of property rights.12/9/2005 1:28:02 AM |

Ok, but I sincerely doubt Coulter would disagree with you on much of that. And neither would I in as much as the activity of an individual does not infringe upon another individual. That's why I'm against big-government social programs. Taxes infringe on our lives. Of course no one can live in a vacuum so this notion is one which must be balanced with other concerns of government. Namely, infrastructure, law enforcement, courts, and the military. But these ought to be minimized as to not infringe on citizens unjust taxes. Well, that's how I see it. But again, I doubt Coulter differs with you in this general aim.
Quote : | "you can support whatever the fuck you want, but if you support limiting personal freedoms which do not infringe on the rights of others (and women's rights, save the abortion issue, do not), you lose." |
I guess I don't understand Coulter's position according to you yet. I would argue, as you seem to be, that abortion is clearly an infringement on another individual. Is that your problem with her? I mean what "freedom" is Coulter so dead set on demolishing?
Quote : | "and when did i ever say she shouldnt be allowed to state her opinion in the public forum anyway? just because i oppose her doesnt mean i oppose her right to anything." |
you didn't, I fished you in. Hee, hee, hee. But seriously I'd like to understand why Coulter is hated so vehemently by the left-leaning folks around here. It seems like if I had to rank hatred of notable conservatives( loosely speaking, I'd say there are 3 conservatives and two hothead know-it-alls in the list, you can guess who) it'd go something like
coulter > Oreily > Savage > Hannity > Rush
feel free to enlarge the list and/or suggest alternate orderings. I want to understand what it is that engenders such hatred towards these pundits... the truth?

Quote : | "A typographical convention When the "L" in Libertarian is capitalized, the word often refers specifically to a member of a Libertarian Party, as distinct from someone who simply favors the philosophy of libertarianism. This distinction between Big-L Libertarianism and small-l libertarianism is important because many libertarians do not align themselves with a Libertarian Party for a variety of reasons. For example, their interpretation of libertarianism may not accord with the Libertarian Party's. Or, they may oppose party politics altogether. Some libertarians may even be members of other parties. Anyone who believes in the libertarian principle is a libertarian (lowercase), but a Libertarian (capitalized) is one who is aligned with a Libertarian Party and/or its platform. For example, Nobel Prize-winning economist Milton Friedman, author of the influential book Free to Choose, is a self-labeled "libertarian" who says he is a member of the United States Republican Party for the sake of "expediency".[3] " |
