If only I had a spare $330 grand...this would be a sweet condo.

Highest residential building in the Carolinas and second tallest building, at 51-53 stories. It's also supposed to be catering to women...which I've never heard of before. 12/8/2005 12:35:24 PM |

Umm, pretty low? It's in fourth ward which is growing quickly(Epicenter tower, etc.) and apparently they've already sold out the first 8-9 floors. 12/8/2005 12:41:05 PM |

they have to sell out a certain number of floors in presales in order to get financing for the whole building
my company is starting construction in january (tentative) on a 40-45 story luxury condo building just outside the loop in charlotte, but we have enough capital to secure the funding.
from what i've been told, most that have to do presales end up not getting built, but the vue apparently is already over the hump... 12/10/2005 9:13:25 AM |

it looks awesome. it sucks that the luxury downtown living that they're making down here costs a fortune. 12/10/2005 10:25:34 AM |

All of these units are being sold to the bankers that already work downtown - they'll just be rentals. I don't see them appreciating for that reason among others - like the general lack of stuff to do downtown Charlotte. 12/10/2005 2:00:00 PM |

i'd love to live uptown but i think i'm going to move to southpark. it's always going to be there and there will always be a demand. 12/10/2005 2:03:37 PM |

sorry you're wrong
your lack of stuff to do is quite simply false. Yes there are no retailers, but this comes with a large residential pop. This movement in charlotte is fairly new. Chicken/Egg
