btw, I thought cutting the roof off a GT was blasphemy too. However, the result is not much of a detraction from the shape as the roofline is almost unblemished when the panels are in place (well, compare it to the diablo roadster's afterthought roof), plus it has the REAL advantage of making this the first GT that you can easily get out of in a parking lot (you know, the roof panels on the std car are part of the doors, so when you get out with the door only a little open, you only have the space at the back. On the GTX1, the roof panels are actually attached to the roof, but still follow the cutlines of the heritage-correct door-attached panel. very trick, and all the panels can be removed individually and stored in the car. I even like their improvisation on what the engine cover should be shaped like.
