what would you get. no work required to get the vehicle in working order either. just a daily driver.

and relativley cheap to insure too (not a 1988 Corvette for example)

after considering gas prices as of late, I'd like to stick with a sedan if possible. I am probably going to find a Corolla

My old car. It has about 200k on it...NEVER took it to a mechanic. works PERFECT!!

plus..it gets 35 mpg

gettaa turbo dsm for 2000 then save the 3500 for what will break on it.

Accord or Civic. (Civic is cheaper on some things like changing the timing belt, or so says my AWESOME mechanic).

jeep cherokee 5 speed... if you don't lift it you'll get about 27 mpg + they're kinda quick and not nearly as gay as most mentioned above.

vw corrados are cool too.

240 sx's

or about any suburu you can afford would be neat too.

^ corrados are getting pretty rare / hard to find parts for

they're damn fun though - esp. with the vr6...

you can get that engine in a mass produced car like the Jetta I'm trying to help sell above - reasonably fun and cheap to run

i've heard the turbos are more fun just cause w/ a chip they have as much or more power w/ less weight
