The fucking Chargers did that TWICE on the same play today.

Chargers safety Florence intercepted a pass, then got smacked by a Colts player and fumbled. Then a linebacker picked the ball up, only to fumble it immediately. Finally a Colts lineman fell on it, which is what the linebacker and safety shoulda done instead of trying to be a hero.

Keep in mind that you dont have a WR that can get open, you cant run cause your ribs are sore, and you cant spend more than 2.7 seconds in the pocket.


Also keep in mind that 50% of your passes will be deflected at the line because ALex Brown is in your face unblocked.

He didn't get 2 feet down before he got hit.

And the ball was coming out as soon as he was hit.

It would have been an incomplete pass, but instead it's an interception because it never touched the ground.

Youll never bother with the fact that one of them was realistically a great throw by him.

You'll also never state that the first one was fairly unimportant since it served as a punt on what would have been 4th and long... when trying the deep ball was the right move being down so much.

^^^^^The second wasn't ruled an INT (even though it should have been), and was just from a nice hit. The first INT was a duck...no way to talk your way out of that one.

Well Vick hasn't fumbled...

he hasnt thrown a backbreaking INT in his own territory...

He's converted a few third and shorts...

He kept Atlanta's defense off the field in the first half.


This was a field position battle, it wasnt a game where you race to 300 passing yards...

How many of his passes were batted at the line of scrimmage by a Dlineman running around unblocked...

How many holding penalties killed ATL's drives in Chicago territory.

How about that block in the back that cost them 30 yards of field position.

How about a 15 ayrd penalty on a head coach.

How about a 25 yard pass interference call on his defense.

How about his defense getting burned by a 40 yard reverse.

How about the offense having about 15 carries for two yards or less.

How about some of those things?

Wrong. No, it wasn't. It had a perfect spiral. It was underthrown based on where the WR was.... perhaps he thought his receiver would be *gasp* coming back to the ball since it was 3rd and 13. Nah, that makes too much sense.

Besides it was 3rd and 13 and the INT was 35 yards downfield. Effectively, its a punt. That's nothing like the pick sixes Delhomme throws every week or the back breakers Favre consistently throws.

I stand corrected on the second INT, didn't realize it has been switched to that although it was a "hospital pass".


Does it matter if a pass has a spiral if it is 10 yards underthrown? There isn't a receiver in the league that could have come back to catch that pass.
