picked up a clutch and T.O. bearing from a motor at work the other day. got it all installed.
only had like half a quart of MTF so i cut her on quickly and it works.

BTW, just get you some 10w30 motor oil, or straight 30w. The Honda fluid is good, but in a pinch, the other does just fine. I have 15w40 in my gearbox. 12/24/2005 1:57:56 PM |

I've only used the Honda MTF a couple of times. I'm usually too lazy to get that or GM Syncromesh fluid.

werd. ill use MTF in my integras. but yeah, civic powR could use some 30W.

i knew someone who drove a crx for 3 days with NO oil in the gearbox before it seized. they let it cool off and put some fluid in it the next day and it was fine. 12/24/2005 11:11:28 PM |
