no, I don't bet on Hockey.

But if I did, I wouldn't bet on the Canes. I never bet on teams i like.

The canes are good....but they will never get any better till they get there D in order though.

They take care of the shit teams...but against the real NHL teams, they lack the D and they lack the physical play thats needed.

Mac doesn't know NHL because he won't bandwagon on the thrashers since they're 16-16-6 and 11 points behind the canes (of course, he's probably too stupid to know that 2 of the canes 9 losses have been at the hands of the thrashers)

Not trying to step on any toes here but what made you take the 'Canes on the road against the best team in the league?

i made a killing on the canes early in the year when they were huge dogs in every game they played. But I have tried to stay away from them now, unless they are big dogs like tonight.

I took the Canes because they were +200, and have matched up well with ottawa this year(beating them in ottawa already nonetheless). Also, we are on a 6 game point streak.

Oh I know we have played them well, but the defense hasnt been as solid since the injuries started and you never know which defense is going to show up. Against the Sens im not gonna risk that. +200 is a big line tho, so it might have been worth a small bet.

Once Nicky gets going again and Kaberle stabilizes, the pairs can go back to normal and everything will be okay. After the Tver/Kaberle pair had a shaky night against Tampa, Lavi split them and put them with a split Ward/Wesley pair.

Id never bet on an NHL game becuase of how the the new NHL gets called. This sens game was dirty by old NHL standards.....the refs couldnt control shit. Carolina needs clean games.
