i guessed python and kids, but im not a fan of mr show the few times ive seen it. i also used to loath sctv coming on late at night years ago, but i cant comment on it having not seen it in so long.

high brow is certainly a fine line to walk upon though.

my dad raised me on sctv. john candy was his idol and he still goes back to visit the sctv studios in toronto from time to time when hes there on business. i had to love it

i saw that WU sketch with this new guy (Andy) in it a few weeks back where him and the other impressionist guy were going up against each other and he kept going, "Hey! I'm _____! WAZAAAP!" to show he was a WILD AND CRAZY DUDE and i knew from that moment i was going to dislike him like i did jimmy fallon and, to a much lesser extent, adam sandler.

Yeah, it's getting all kinds of attention. Which sucks, because they're going to try to do more of the same thing instead of try to keep rolling with fresh material. That's how Lorne rolls nowadays.

I was pretty offended by this skit. I mean, Narnia was a magical movie written by a wonderfuly smart person, Ann Peacock. And now it is just open to public mockery by two people. Anything turned into a rap is just bad and means that it is being made fun of.
