http://www.ncsu.edu/registrar/registration/courseload.html#undergrad

Quote :
"The maximum course load for undergraduate degree students is 21 credit hours in a semester and two courses plus a physical education course in a summer session.

Undergraduate students who wish to register for more than 18 hours during the Fall or Spring semester must have their adviser complete this Course Load Waiver Form and return it to Registration and Records. Students who wish to register for more than 21 hours during the Fall or Spring semester must complete a Schedule Revision Form. Schedule Revision Forms are available from the student's departmental office."
