connection? My Sony just died, and was happy to find there are units out there which allow you to connect and power and IPOD and control everything through the head units. Would like some user reports. Not sure what sectiont this should have gone in. 1/3/2006 1:33:01 PM |

I have the AVIC-D1 and the ipod dock and the NAVtraffic also. All is awesome and its pretty cool watching videos from my ipod video on my deck (when in park) and if you don't mind only seeing the first 8 characters of each song name, its worth every penny
oh yeah and
ipods suck! only fags own ipods!
there now we have both sides and its officially a tech talk approved thread.

Well, I know I can do aux in, but that doesnt solve the power issue. then I have to use the cigarette lighter to keep it charged (dont like that, because I already have radar plugged in). The Pioneer method, while obviously the most expensive, appears to be the most seamless. Of course, you probably know better alternatives than the above. feel free to enlighten me.
^ I didnt know Alpine did it as well. Will need to check that out.
