what are the laws regarding where i can get it inspected? Its registered in Mecklenburg County, does that mean i need to go back there to get it inspected? One of my friends mentioned that, but i thought that didnt matter as long as it was inspected in the same state. 1/9/2006 1:49:53 PM |

You can go anywhere you want, in the state, to get inspected. They just use the rules of the county you are from. Especially now that 95- cars are all safety and visual, you have no problem going anywhere. 1/9/2006 1:51:30 PM |

Is there a law regarding windows being in the vehicle when it gets inspected? If a window has been broken will it pass? 1/9/2006 5:41:33 PM |

I assume you are talking about the windshield. The wipers have to work without any interferance. Also, visibility cannot be impared.

I do not believe there are any restrictions on the side windows. I could be wrong, but I am relatively sure that you can have it cracked or missing. 1/9/2006 9:44:52 PM |
