anyone ever been on this before? did you have problems with it? did you ever drink while taking it?

i did not have problems with it.
i did not drink - i was 14 or 15.

My boyfriend's on it along with some other meds. He drinks constantly so I can safely say that it won't kill ya but it will make you pretty ditzy and forgetful. Most psychiatric meds that slow you down will affect your short-term memory. It's fast-working and can really help to calm down the nerves, along with the temper.

I was on buspirone hcl for a while. IT helsp a LOT with stress, iwhtout as many side affects of some of the other stuff they tried me on. Drinking while taking it is fine, but dont try to drive or make any life changing descisions while doing so.

This is a very old medication and does affect sex drive. I would recommend Wellbutrin although there is not a generic for it right now.
