I fucking loved Battle Royale, but I heard the sequel sucked.

In Battle Royale 2 the kids are put up against the government instead of each other or something. I saw the first 30 minutes and then found better things to do.

If anyone here sees this movie and hates it then you suck at life. Put a bunch of Japanese gangsters in an enchanted time traveling forest, mix in some zombies, throw out any sort of plot, and enjoy!!!

if you can stand anime, go for Perfect Blue. Its probably the craziest stalker story I've seen.

this movie isn't particularly crazy, and actually is korean not japanese i think, but Volcano High is pretty cool.

versus was HORRIBLE. it was way too cheesy to be cool.

sympathy for mr. vengeance is korean, just like oldboy since they are in the same "trilogy"

versus is good, battelfield baseball, azumi (second azumi pales in comparison), returner, spear of longinus is pretty good. i personally liked both BR movies, although the anti american spiel in the second did dimish its value somewhat. gojoe is pretty good, and the remade zatoichi was good although cheesy with the special deffects cgi blood. naked weapon was good for really hot female assasins forced to kill each other. of course the myriad of japanese horror flicks like ju-on, ringu, st johns wort, dark water, etc.

as for korean movies, the vengeance trilogy movvies are all good, fighter in the wind is good, 2009 lost memories is good, and the best korean movie i've ever seen is 301/302

HK, any steven chow movie. my personal fav is the god of cookery. followed by kung fu hustle and shaolin soccer.

versus had very shitty production quality. Other than that, it was ok as a B-movie.
