Other than innundating you with stuff they want to sell you, are there any drawbacks?

I'll stick to doing Pinecone Research - granted, you only get $5/survey, but it's straightforward (~10min./survey) and you sometimes get to try new products.

^the only problem is that I have a bad habit of forgetting about the checks, then I find a few expired ones when I'm organizing stuff

i just joined like three months ago and have already gotten around 6 $5 checks and got to test a product
