his TD celebration reminded me more of mario, sliding down poles in the old SNES games. either way, this man will be the super bowl mvp. just wait. he plays with so much intensity and love you cant help but be a fan 1/16/2006 4:34:26 PM |

I have a serious man crush on steve smith
I got his jersey for xmas and I've been wearing it ever since, periodically stating "I'm Steve Smith!" to anyone who will listen. I wish it was true
I wish he would be my friend and I've thought about sending him some fan mail, possibly with naked pictures enclosed.

well thats surely not gay as hell
he's an excellent player, thats for damn sure
but i wonder would people give him as much props if he wasn't undersized1/16/2006 9:20:48 PM |
buddha1747 All American 5067 Posts user info edit post |
if he put up the same numbers he would get the same props. why wouldnt he? he only led the league in yards tds and catches. why doesnt he deserve all the props in the world? 1/16/2006 9:22:53 PM |

and he's just more entertaining to watch then someone like Marvin Harrison, cause hes a great runner after the catch and explosive 1/16/2006 9:24:37 PM |

^^ yeah really, the fact that he's undersized isn't really a huge selling point of the talking heads. they might mention it, but its more in general about how he makes anyone who covers him his personal bitch 1/16/2006 9:25:38 PM |

wtf dude. if youve ever met the guy or ever listened to him talk he is EXTREMELY HUMBLE. he will not ever say they will win etc...but he gets out on the field and people run their mouths...then he goes off...i bet seattle wishes they still had lucas, then he would be covering steve. 1/16/2006 10:02:49 PM |

Smith admits that he used to be cocky as hell, but he's changed his ways. He claims that he's just having fun playing football, and he's not out to get anyone or talk trash to anyone...just having a good time. I really havent noticed him do more than strut or something after making a big catch...he never gets in the defenders face, only jumps up and celebrates with himself or teammates. 1/16/2006 10:08:23 PM |

Smith and Johnson's are better, ebcause they actually put some thought into their celebrations, TO usually just finds some way of mocking the other team's key players (he was more original in SanFran)...
