"A reader has tipped us off to the fact that a guy named "Sean Hilary Locklear" currently is being held without bond in the King County, Washington jail on charges of domestic violence.

A guy named "Sean Locklear" is the starting right tackle for the professional football team that plays its home games in King County, Washington. He was booked on January 15.

We're trying to confirm that it's the same dude.

Locklear is a second-year player from North Carolina State. He has started in every game this season for the Seahawks, who arguably have the best offensive line in the NFL.

I don't think the Seahawks are gonna draft anymore NC State players after this.

This is HUGE.

He starts opposite Julius Peppers.

And he wasnt supposed to be the starting RT anyway so now we might face a third string Right Tackle.

Actually, Chris Terry was supposed to be Seattle's starting right tackle this year. He was released after....wait for it......he assaulted his wife. So, Locklear was essentially the Seahawks' second option at right tackle coming into the season.

gg, though

well even if going into the season he wasnt supposed to start, he cant be too bad if he ended up starting all year, if he wasnt good, they would have gotten someone else.

There are a lot of offensive lineman starting games that aren't that good.

Dude, just stop posting in this thread. You don't have a clue what the fuck you're talking about.

Yes, Locklear was pretty good this year. Thats not the point. The point is that they are now down to their 3rd string RT, who is supposed to keep Peppers out of Hasslebeck's face. Good luck with that.

all i was saying was he started every game this year, i dont care who beat their wife in the preseason to free up a spot, and womack came in for walter jones during the game saturday, so he apparently never beat locklear out after he got better. i just stated locklear started every game on line that blocked for the nfl mvp.

you know that somehow that 3rd string RT is gonna have the game of his life and keep peppers subdued. that shit always happens.

I hope this makes the betting line move. It's already moved a half point in Carolina's favor.

Yeah Locklear had a very good year I wasnt arguing that.

But he was not supposed to be the starting RT this year for Seattle.

Hence the statement

"Early reports were sketchy, but Locklear and a woman were apparently shouting at each other in a restaurant when police were called, according to a Seahawks spokesman.

Police responded and in accordance with domestic abuse laws, Locklear had to be taken into custody even though the woman asked police not to arrest Locklear, the spokesman said."

in police terms, this is a "code WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT"

so basically shouting is domestic abuse in WA?

I'm not sure how the law varies from state to state, but I believe on domestic violence disputes, you can hold a suspect for 24 hours without actually charging them with anything.

they just mentioned it on Sportscenter. what they said was that his gf was dancing with another man in the club, and he confronted her about it. the situation escalated and he allegedly grabbed her around the neck.
