I am not sure if this goes here or Garage.

I am trying to upgrade my XM Radio. Previously I had pulled power off of the 12v plug above the radio. I was hoping to do that again. The issue is I am having trouble splicing off of the power going to the plug due to it being so short. I can manipulate the wires with my finger tips, but it is very hard to do anything. Anybody have a suggestion as to how to connect the wires in a hard to reach place?

Thanks.

have you tried using a fuse tap? provides a direct wire for power without changing the circuit you are tapping...

Well, the circuit has already changed due to the last time I installed XM, so I am unsure as to how that would help.
