chen shin aint a bad tire, i know a lot of guys with high hp street bikes that run em, but i stick with dunlop and metzler on my magna, i usually get some good damn miles on em as long as i stay out of the throttle

I think Cheng Shins hook up okay, but they tend to break loose suddenly and without warning. I prefer a good tire myself, especially the way I ride.

what bike and what size tire you looking to get? It'll prolly be less of a hassle to do it here. If you got an old bike that used 160/60 tires, dunlops are cheap and decent enough. The Honda/Yamaha dealership in Garner is the cheapest place for those tires, like 110 last time I got it there. But they have short side walls and they wear out really quickly if you can corner well (then again, this is Raleigh and no curves around here).

took off a dunlop qualifier, went to an avon on my old magna back when, it was a good tire ~110 mounted and balanced from the place in garner

I need a 170/60 R17 tire...I've got dunlop 208's and would like to try something with more grip if the price is reasonable.

Thanks
Jon
