I'm trying to network a laser printer using the internal print server card.... but it's not working. Any thoughts? 1/22/2006 12:04:53 AM |

well the config page from the printer comes out, but the windows test page doesn't even print... it's like everything times out, and there is plenty of memory. it's connected through a network and not a parallel or a usb cord.

When the config page comes out does it have an IP address? If so, is it correct (as in does it match the rest of your IP's on the network)? 1/22/2006 10:30:38 PM |

-Tell us what network you are using it on ... work or home? What do you have to do to join that network? -What type of printer/internal print server card is it? -(Already mentioned), what is listed on the config page? Can you ping that IP address? -What version of Windows are you using? What steps have you taken so far in trying to set it up? -Do you have a hardcopy manual? Can you obtain an electronic copy if you don't have a hardcopy?
