so i can't open powerpoint because i don't have the product code (lost the cd). ms word works so i would have assumed even if it is a different version than powerpoint that i would have powerpoint from having word because powerpoint used to work. is there any way to get powerpoint to work without going out and buying it again?

i'm sure you can search for a product code on google, or go to some free serial code web site

or you could use http://www.openoffice.org

http://www4.ncsu.edu/~pjbusby/keyfinder.exe

that program will let you extract your windows and office keys off your computer if you've lost your cd key. otherwise you should buy the software again, which sucks, but it's just like anything else in the world.

unless you're immoral. then you can steal it.

The formal name of that is the "Magic JellyBean" keyfinder, or close to it. That program works extremely well.
