anybody on here know anywhere around raleigh where i can find table felt and foam for building a poker table?

how big of a table are you trying to build

you can get a lot of stuff from joann fabrics

look for 1inch thick high density foam for the rail (if you are making one)
you can get cotton backed vinyl from joanns
depending on the size of your table you might be able to get felt at joanns
-you will probably be better off ordering the felt from the internet, unless you want a velvet type material

to go under the felt, you will want to find a material called volara. it is a cell foam padding that does not allow liquids to pass through it. great if you plan on having drinks anywhere near your table. look for something that is 1/4inch thick, that is pretty standard.

i ordered a pretty nice on on amazon.com for like $150 last summer...it was the best deal around that I could find, and shipping was not that much.
