Occasionally my monitor likes to put out a really really awful high pitch sound. If I turn off the speakers it's still there, it doesn't go away until I cut off the monitor. Any clue what could be causing this? 1/25/2006 11:40:39 AM |

its the flyback transformer causing the noise, just get an LCD monitor, they dont make any noise

Change the refresh rate to something other than 60hz.
If a game/application controls this, you'll need to change in there as well. 1/25/2006 6:37:08 PM |
