600:1, 300cd/m2... have both the dvi and vga cables, the monitors themselves are in excellent condition (i'm pretty psycho about people touching my monitors, so they haven't changed much since the day i got them out of their boxes)

each has one dead pixel (they were doa), locked blue, but is only noticeable when the entire screen is black - you can always come by sometime and see what you think yourself.

$250 each (obo), don't have to buy both. i've had them for about a year and a half now, so they both have ~1.5yr on the manufacturer's warranty left. selling them to head the laptop route, desktop not cutting it anymore.

anyway, pm me or whatever if you'd like to hear more/come check them out sometime. i live walking distance from hillsborough on chamberlain (the street between gopaks and el rodeo).

first off - no, i won't admit to anything that isn't true. second, when i said the auction was back on, i was fucking with you - it isn't on because i've already sold the monitors - gasp! - for $250 each. oh, more than msrp you say (or at least, meant to say, as "something below current retail MSRP" is pretty redundant... you know... seeing as how the R in MSRP is for retail, and how MSRP is the manufacturers suggested retail price, which actually has no bearing whatsoever on the actual retail price - in fact, what you meant to refer to was the current price the monitor is available, retail, for, and in fact not the MSRP)? you know, it's funny how that shit works.

yes, good point - much time is spent on the computer, arguably too much. but hardly any of it is

last year; honestly, when i searched for the price of the two exact models i bought (710t), this

that i am the SELLER in this situation, i didn't spend a whole lot of goddamn time researching how much
i should sell this for - all i was doing was picking a fucking price. if whatever price i choose is
unreasonable, i'll find out pretty quick - no one will buy them from me. i didn't shove my
monitors down anyone's throat, being a fucking csc major means i have a pretty good chance of knowing a
lot of people who know something or other about computers - which always leaves the possibility that
i just tell a couple friends, and one whom i haven't seen in a while apparently needed one for himself,
and that his father's business could use one too. now, honestly, he knows full well he doesn't have to
buy from me, and considering his background in computers would very quickly be able to do his own research
and pick up something comparable. or maybe he wanted 710ts, and not the 740s that are listed in the
newegg search ( i did another link http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?N=0&Submit=ENE&description=samsung+17%22+lcd&DEPA=0&Ntk=all&Order=price
since the one in the thread no longer works, and i sorted by lowest price, so make sure you do) - here it
shows a 710m on 8 hour sale - this monitor is actually not as good as mine are, noting the lower brightness,
lower contrast ratio, no dvi output, and most importantly the 25ms pixel refresh rate (my panels
are 12ms). next, we have the 740n - priced at $220 after shipping. oh shit! it has an 8ms[/] pixel
refresh and it is cheaper than what i'm asking for mine !@# shit, this too has only analog out...
so if this guy wants digital, percievably he wants a 710t and none of this other shit. next up is the
740b, and fuck me running if this doesn't have all the features the last one did plus dvi, making it
comparable to the 710t, but is even actually faster (8ms vs. 12ms) than my 710ts. priced at $245 after
shipping, i guess i must be grossly overasking for my monitors. i mean, they each have a stuck pixel -
what shit! ohhhh, wait! have any of you ever dealt with lcds before? do you know about the standard
8-bad-pixels per display required for a replacement? now, i could be wrong, but pixels don't seem to
die all that often. i've never seen one actually die, or seen it before it died. but presumably this
kid may buy his display at newegg and end up with seven stuck pixels, five stuck pixels, one stuck pixel
in a shitty place, etc, wheras with my displays he knows that he's only getting one stuck pixel, and
that on the display he's getting it's a nice ways off to the side of the screen (the one his dad will
receive has a stuck pixel more towards the center... but in all fucking honesty you never see it when
the monitor is anything but completely black), and that both monitors have been owned by me for one and
a half years, meaning that very few fingers have even come close to the surface of the monitors, and
those that have have been severely punished. honestly, i have no fucking clue. i picked a price, asked
it, and he agreed. blow me.
