What course can I take in the summer (either session, does not matter) which I can get an A+ in to boos my gpa? I mean I am not saying just an easy A, I study and all, but there are some courses which no matter what you can't do the A+ thing. Also since I am a science major I prefer to take something in the humanities over the summer. I want an easy class that with a decent amount of studying (considering summer and all....) I could come out with an A+. Thanks to all y'all study hall folks. 1/26/2006 8:21:05 AM |

intro to soc or psych were both pretty easy... i had to do some gpa boosters over the summer after a rough freshman fall semester so as to keep my scholarship. i think i also took intro to philosophy over my first summer here... not as easy as soc or psych, but still an intro class so its not too hard, and I found the reading material much more interesting. taking philsophy over that summer is what got me to switch from engineering to philosophy and since then i've recieved an undergrad research grant in the field, and in a month or two will be getting acceptance letters to grad schools... so I think an intro to phi class would definitely be worth while. an intro to phi class wouldn't have alot of homework assignments like worksheets or problems, mostly just readings and maybe a paper. 1/26/2006 1:22:00 PM |

ENG209 - intro to shakespeare with dr. blackley. he rocks! 2-3 essays and 2 exams. you do ~8 plays. just make sure you watch all the lectures (its distance ed), and do the readings. loved this class. 1/26/2006 9:32:24 PM |

Its not that I had not done Shakespeare before or something. I wanted an easy class to fulfil my GER requirements while I was doing my 40+ hours of co-op.
Take this class with Dr. Blackley, you will enjoy it. I remember some students saying on the last day of class that they wished they had taken an actual class with him instead of a distance ed one.1/27/2006 6:35:37 PM |

Dr. Blackley is AMAZINGLY awesome and I wish I had taken more real classes with him (I took Renaissance Brit Lit my last semester studying English). I can't recommend him enough. I wouldn't take it for an easy A though. 2/2/2006 7:30:11 AM |
