ok, so i was playing CS:Source this morning, and all of a sudden my computer goes to blue screen and says it was stopped to avoid damage, typical blue screen.... anyway i turn it off and back on, it would boot windows and immediately shut down as soon as it got into windows. Strangly enough this happened back in november (not sure the exact time it happened or how before).

Last time all i had to do was a system recovery(reinstall) my hard drive has a partition that has "the windows cd" on it im assuming or windows setup. at any rate when i got home from class this afternoon, windows wouldn't even boot and i cant get to system recovery. any ideas?

a black screen pops up right after the start screen and says press f 11 for system recovery. it worked last time, but now it wont go past that screen and if i press f11 it does nothing.
